Chief Executive Officer
Bruce has over 35 years of finance, accounting and operations experience in the healthcare space, serving in a number of leadership roles. His experience centers principally around working with privately held, multi-location service providers operating locally, regionally and nationally across the United States, ranging in size from $5M to in excess of $300M in revenues. He has extensive experience building companies and creating investor value in excess of $1B alongside a number of nationally recognized private equity firms. In addition, he was with a large Denver, Colorado based healthcare system, currently known as Centura Health for four years. Prior to relocating to Denver, Bruce started his career and spent thirteen years in the St Louis healthcare group of the firm currently known as EY. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a BSBA degree.
Steve DiPaola, PT, OCS
Chief Operating Officer
Steve has been a physical therapist and outpatient rehab leader for over 25 years. He earned his clinical degree from the University of New Mexico School of Medicine. He has served as an adjunct professor in the physical therapy program at Regis University and been an instrumental leader in the rehabilitation service industry for several companies. Steve currently sits on the Physical Therapy Board for the state of Colorado and plays a vital role in the operational strategies and clinical growth at PRN.
Chief Financial Officer
Mark has a broad financial background with leadership roles spanning multiple business environments and industries. He has worked for both large public companies such as ITT Corporation and Caesars World, as well as private equity-backed multi-unit businesses invested in healthcare and education. He has helped lead numerous organizations in high growth environments around acquisitions and de novo openings. Most recently, he was the Chief Financial Officer for MB2 Dental Solutions, a Dallas-based multi-unit dental service organization, and assisted them with the first-time sale of a majority interest in the group to a private equity sponsor. He began his career in public accounting and holds a CPA license in both Colorado and California. Mark and Judy are blessed with three sons, Chase, Michael, and Luke.
Chief Development Officer
Michael has over 25 years of experience in healthcare service-based companies where he has held senior leadership roles in both development and operations. He is a former CPA and holds a BS in Finance from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from DePaul University. Michael has a long history of successful expansions with growth-oriented companies that utilize a partnership platform for their operating model. He directs PRN’s development activities by targeting de novo opportunities and acquisitions through its partnership-based model with therapists.
Matt Smith, PT, DPT, OCS, CMPT, Cert MDT, CSMT
Chief Compliance Officer
Matt has 13 years of clinical and leadership experience in outpatient clinics and holds a doctorate degree in physical therapy from the University of Puget Sound. He has certifications in manual therapy from North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and The International Spine & Pain Institute. He also received certifications in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment, and has recently re-certified as a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Matt is currently the chair for the education department for the state of Idaho and volunteers at local colleges teaching and sitting on healthcare advisory boards. He oversees the development and implementation of the comprehensive quality and compliance program at PRN.
