“The program hasn’t changed my core view of leadership, but it’s given me incredibly helpful tools—like the trust equation and communication strategies based on social styles—that make leadership more intentional and effective,” Ryann shared.

While communication has always been a strength in her patient care, Ryann saw an opportunity to improve her versatility when working with her team.

“Firebrand helped me recognize a gap in how I adapt to different coworker communication styles. It’s something I’m now actively working on to support a more positive clinic culture,” she said.

One of her biggest takeaways? The trust equation—a tool she’s already applied countless times.

“I use it daily, with both patients and coworkers. It helps me set clear expectations and follow through with consistency,” Ryann noted.
