  • Ajay Gupta
    Chief Executive Officer

    Ajay is a seasoned management professional with a career spanning over 20 years within the healthcare, business service, pharmaceutical and clinical research industries. His experience has been largely focused on healthcare and finance including consultant work in the pharmaceutical and biomedical fields. Ajay has held several executive level positions throughout his career and served as CFO and COO to a national cancer research company as well as post-acute healthcare delivery company. His accomplishments also include being appointed a senior advisor for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in Washington, DC and advising in the development and issuance of major policy guidance around Medicare. Ajay is originally from Nashville, TN where he was also the founding CFO for a publicly traded research institute.

  • Mark Fuller
    Chief Financial Officer

    Mark has a broad financial background with leadership roles spanning multiple business environments and industries. He has worked for both large public companies such as ITT Corporation and Caesars World, as well as private equity-backed multi-unit businesses invested in healthcare and education. He has helped lead numerous organizations in high growth environments around acquisitions and de novo openings. Most recently, he was the Chief Financial Officer for MB2 Dental Solutions, a Dallas-based multi-unit dental service organization, and assisted them with the first-time sale of a majority interest in the group to a private equity sponsor. He began his career in public accounting and holds a CPA license in both Colorado and California. Mark and Judy are blessed with three sons, Chase, Michael, and Luke.

  • Mike Rice
    Chief Development Officer

    Michael has over 25 years of experience in healthcare service-based companies where he has held senior leadership roles in both development and operations. He is a former CPA and holds a BS in Finance from Northern Illinois University and an MBA from DePaul University. Michael has a long history of successful expansions with growth-oriented companies that utilize a partnership platform for their operating model. He directs PRN’s development activities by targeting de novo opportunities and acquisitions through its partnership-based model with therapists.

  • Matt Smith, PT, DPT, OCS, CMPT, Cert MDT, CSMT
    Chief Compliance Officer

    Matt has 13 years of clinical and leadership experience in outpatient clinics and holds a doctorate degree in physical therapy from the University of Puget Sound. He has certifications in manual therapy from North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and The International Spine & Pain Institute. He also received certifications in Mechanical Diagnosis and Treatment, and has recently re-certified as a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. Matt is currently the chair for the education department for the state of Idaho and volunteers at local colleges teaching and sitting on healthcare advisory boards. He oversees the development and implementation of the comprehensive quality and compliance program at PRN.

  • Rob Pace, MS, PT
    Sr. Vice President of Operations

    Rob is a proud graduate of Ithaca College/University of Rochester’s Physical Therapy program. Along with being a very strong clinical Physical Therapist in Arizona, California, and Illinois, Rob is a seasoned and accomplished healthcare manager. Throughout his career, he has successfully excelled in a multitude of roles in the rehabilitation field ranging from a staff clinician to Senior Vice President in several nationally-recognized organizations. He currently oversees the clinical and operational strategies at PRN and is a champion of building high caliber teams, customer service excellence, and patient-centered healthcare. Rob lives in the Phoenix area with his wife, Jennifer, and their two daughters. Outside of work, Rob can be found working out, water skiing, or being a proud father and fan at either a volleyball or basketball game.

  • Kevin Windle
    Vice President of Operations

    Kevin has spent nearly 15 years working in the healthcare industry and has a strong background in data analysis and finance. Originally from New Jersey, he graduated from Villanova University with a BSBA degree and spent the first few years of his career at The Vanguard Group in Malvern, PA. There he identified business trends and partnered with operating groups to improve overall performance. He then went on to join Children’s Surgical Associates at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, as a member of their accounting and finance team. After relocating to the west coast, Kevin joined Physical Rehabilitation Network in June of 2007. During his career with PRN, his various roles have spanned accounting, finance, and operations, giving him a very unique perspective within the Company. He is an integral part of implementing organizational initiatives and his diverse experience has allowed him to effectively communicate across all leadership levels providing oversight and education in a mentorship fashion to clinic directors.

  • Craig Rettke, PT, MBA
    Vice President - Central Region

    Craig has over 39 years of experience in the physical therapy industry with over 30 years at the executive level. Craig holds a physical therapy degree and an MBA from Marquette University. He began his physical therapy career in Racine, WI. From there he transitioned to management for Baxter International and Caremark with responsibilities from Sales and Marketing, Business Development and on to Regional Vice President with oversight of 60 clinics throughout the West and Southwest United States. As the founding President and COO of Matrix Rehabilitation, Inc. Craig and his team led the creation and development of a successful 200-clinic company that grew from inception to the third largest outpatient rehabilitation business nationally within three years. More recently, Craig developed Vista Rehab Partners, LP, a privately held outpatient rehabilitation clinic network in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Vista uses an equity-based model with managing therapists. Craig enjoys family activities, hanging with his grandchildren, golfing, skiing and cooking.

  • Galen Danielson, PT, DPT, OCS, Cert. MDT, CSMT, CSCS
    Vice President - Mountain Region

    Galen Danielson is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and owner at RehabAuthority. Over the past 17 years, he’s embraced his responsibility of finding the right players on the Rehab Team and helping them succeed. As a founding partner of RehabAuthority, Galen has been an integral part of growing the company from a single clinic, to 17 clinics across Idaho, North Dakota and Minnesota. The clinics have enjoyed significant growth in new patients, visits and profitability over those years. In 2017, Galen supported his team in facilitating 74,641 patient visits and opening 2 new facilities. During his off time, Galen spends a lot of time on the lake fishing with his two sons, golfing with his wife of 23 years, and coaching youth sports. Galen is passionate about the future of physical therapy and the next generation of physical therapists.

  • Jeff Lipkin, PT, DPT
    Vice President - Colorado Region

    Jeff received his clinical doctorate from the University of Pittsburgh. He has been a practicing physical therapist for the past 13 years and has worked in a variety of outpatient models of care as staff therapist, clinical director and owner of a facility. He utilizes his clinical and management experience to help all staff members be successful within the region. Jeff’s most recent role was owner/director of a physical therapy practice in Lakewood, CO and has firsthand knowledge of the PRN acquisition process and growth models. He has a passion for development and an interest in developing future partnerships that will lead to the success of the physical therapy profession.

  • Stephen Schaefer, PT, MBA
    Vice President - Pacific Northwest Region

    Stephen has been in healthcare for over 30 years with a wide range of experience. Stephen is a physical therapist and has been clinically active most of his career seeing patients as well as managing operations both in his private practices as well as for large healthcare companies. Experience include operations management in imaging, urgent cares, Gamma Knife, women’s health, ambulatory surgery centers and physical therapy clinics. However, Stephen is passionate about physical therapy and believes that the PRN model is the best place to be professionally as the model includes working with clinicians who are also owners in their clinics. This blend of business “leads to the best possible outcomes, customer service, and financial responsibility”.  Stephen oversees the Pacific Northwest which includes 25 physical therapy locations as well as inpatient contracting throughout Washington and Northern California.
