Ulysses Jimenez

Originally from San Jose, CA, Ulysses Jimenez is dedicated to helping patients restore mobility, overcome pain, and achieve their full potential. Ulysses earned his Bachelor’s degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California, Davis, where he also became an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and helped others optimize their health and fitness. Driven by his passion for human movement, Ulysses went on to earn his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Samuel Merritt University in 2021. He is an ABPTS Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist and brings years of experience working with patients of all ages and backgrounds—from athletes recovering from injury to individuals managing chronic pain.
Ulysses believes in a patient-centered approach, taking the time to listen to each patient’s story and developing customized treatment plans tailored to their unique goals. His compassionate care and commitment to evidence-based practice make him a valued member of the Spine & Sport Physical Therapy team.
Outside the clinic, Ulysses enjoys practicing and competing in Brazilian jiu-jitsu (BJJ), spending time with family and friends, and relaxing at the beach. He is proud to be part of the San Diego community.
