Matthew Rios-Lopez
PT, DPT
Matthew Rios-Lopez, PT, DPT, is a Doctor of Physical Therapy dedicated to helping patients return to the activities they enjoy through individualized, evidence-based care. Born and raised in Reno, Nevada, his passion for movement and athletics began early, playing multiple sports throughout childhood and into college, including football, lacrosse, and snowboarding.
Matthew attended the University of Nevada, Reno before earning his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions in Provo, Utah. He has clinical experience in post-operative rehabilitation, orthopedic injuries, sports rehabilitation, geriatric care, and neurologic physical therapy. He is dedicated to helping patients restore function, improve mobility, and regain confidence in movement.
Fluent in Spanish, Matthew is passionate about serving the Spanish-speaking community in the Treasure Valley region and strives to make physical therapy accessible and welcoming for all patients.
Outside the clinic, Matthew enjoys snowboarding, weightlifting, hiking, and traveling with his soon-to-be wife, Trisha, and their golden retriever, Marvin.
