Jordan, Kevin, Lauren and Abby are amazing people! They are kind, caring and accommodating to your needs. Jordan, Kevin and Lauren will not push you beyond your limits and make it so that we do not over extend our capabilities. I had been to other therapists in the past and never received the treatment and kindness that I receive here.

I’m been going in therapy in Kinetex for years. I love this place. The workers are very nice and professional. It is like a family when you are there. Since I found them, I don’t like to go anywhere else. Their therapy help me so much for my pain. I’m so grateful finally I found a place I really like and help me feel better.

I have been on a long road to recovery, dealing with a broken toe on one foot and a severe sprained ankle on the other, which has been causing me pain for almost three months. After seeing two different physical therapists who didn't listen to my concerns or effectively treat my injury, I was fortunate to find Jordan, my third physical therapist. Jordan is truly gifted. Unlike the others, who barely touched my ankle, Jordan takes the time to physically manipulate it, addressing the pain directly. His approach is both hands-on and thoughtful, and for the first time, I feel like I’m making real progress. I’m grateful for his expertise and will definitely continue my treatment here. I’ll also be referring friends because I’ve finally found someone who genuinely cares and knows what they’re doing. I’d also like to mention the front desk staff, Abby- is just as wonderful. Her phone personality is fantastic, and she makes the entire experience even more pleasant with her friendly and welcoming attitude. The pt aids in the back, both Abby and Josh are great! Each brings Great conversation as well as skill to the experience. Lastly, parking is really easy, and it’s easy to get into the facility if you’re having difficulty walking. I couldn’t be happier.

Beware of their fraudulent billing practices. Their website states: "We accept most major insurances including Medicare, Tricare and workers’ compensation plans. Before your initial visit, we will verify in and out of network benefits with your insurance company. The cost of therapy is determined by the benefits of your insurance plan, including the deductible and co-pay, or patient percentage. We are happy to check with your insurance company to determine the terms of your coverage. Payment for patient responsibility is due at the time of service." Prior to my visits, I confirmed with Kinetix that they accept Blue Shield PPO and my copay would be $60 per visit, and per their policy, I paid $60 at each appointment. I had a total of seven visits and paid $420, or $60 per visit. My last visit was 12-18-24. I received a statement dated January 18, 2025, around the end of January, for $3.63 for the 12-18-24 visit. I paid this amount, and then at the end of February I received a bill dated February 18, 2025, for $43.32 for the same service dated 12-18-24. The bill stated that I paid $20.31, not the $60 plus the $3.63. I called their billing person seven times and left seven voicemails. Nobody responded. On March 26, 2025, I received a bill for $827.46; some of the other service dates, including the last one on 12-18-24, are included. Their billing people are apparently trying to collect $330 per visit. There is no way I would have even used their services if I had known that this was their fee. This is a clear violation of AB 72. Furthermore, they didn't even start billing my insurance company until early 2025. I used their services in good faith, believing that they verified coverage with my PPO plan and that $60 per visit was my liability, which they collected every visit. I plan to file a formal complaint with the California HHS and Consumer Affairs. This is clearly billing fraud. Update - My husband looked into this matter and found that this was no isolated case among California Rehabilitation and Sports Therapy/PRN affiliated facilities. There are many cases where customers received surprise bills months after their treatment ended and when they called to inquire they were directed to voicemail and receive no responses. Eventually the bill is sent to third party collection agencies if they are unpaid. In most cases, including mine, the treatment received was great but the billing created a headache. After my husband called and stated that the issue will be elevated to California HHS and Consumer Affairs, he received a callback from the PRN billing department and the entire issue was resolved immediately. It should note that I never had an issue with BlueShield PPO insurance prior to 2022 when I used their services in the past. The care received has always been good. In future, I will get pre-authorizations and estimates in writing from both the insurance and the provider.

Commonly Asked Questions & What to Expect During Your PT Treatment

Do I need to see a doctor first?

Thanks to direct access, we can see any patient without a referral from a doctor for an initial evaluation. If our therapists believe that physical therapy is a good option for your needs, we can work with you and your physician to obtain a prescription for continued care. If your diagnosis requires additional expertise, we can also refer you to a specialist to handle your care.

What do I need to bring to my first visit?

For your first visit, be sure to bring the following items:

  • Prescription for physical therapy from your referring physician (if applicable)
  • Government issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license)
  • Insurance card(s)
  • Patient forms, which can be downloaded from this site in PDF format. Print and fill out the forms completely and bring them during your first visit.
  • Patients who are minors (under 18 years of age) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for their first visit.

What should I wear to physical therapy?

Please wear or bring comfortable athletic/workout clothing to change into. This includes shorts or sweatpants, a t-shirt and sneakers. Your attire should also allow easy access to your injured area for treatment by your physical therapist.

What can I expect during my first visit?

During your first visit, your therapist will perform a thorough examination, in which he or she will review your physician’s recommendations, examine the problem area, ask questions about your injury or pain, develop an effective treatment plan for rehabilitation, discuss their findings with you and answer any questions you may have. Your treatment plan may include hands-on, manual therapy, a customized exercise program, stretching and physical agents such as heat, ice, ultrasound and electrical stimulation. Your physical therapist may also recommend a home program to further assist in your treatment.

How long will my appointment take?

Your first appointment will typically last from 45 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on your injury. Following appointments usually last between 30 minutes and an hour, depending on the treatment. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your appointment for check-in and paperwork. You can also download our patient forms, which can be filled out beforehand and brought with to your appointment.

How often will I need to come?

The frequency of your treatment will depend on your physician’s prescription and the plan of care developed by your physical therapist. Most patients require treatment two to three times per week. The duration of treatment will depend on your injury and personal progress. Your physical therapist will discuss this with you following your initial exam and subsequently as you progress.

What if I need to cancel an appointment?

If you are unable to attend an appointment, we require at least 24 hours' notice. However, we do understand than an occasional emergency or illness may arise, in which case you may have to cancel your appointment closer to your scheduled time.
