We cannot recommend Dr. Alex and his team highly enough! My 9-year-old son started seeing them a few months ago for an ankle avulsion fracture following a soccer injury, and the experience has been phenomenal. From the initial assessment of his strength and mobility, they developed a plan perfectly tailored to his needs. By meticulously tracking his progress and ensuring his alignment remains perfect, they have been incredibly intentional about making his exercises progressively more challenging and effective. Most importantly, they are remarkably patient and make every visit so much fun that my son actually looks forward to PT each week. He is now completely pain-free and honestly seems even stronger than he was before the injury. If you are looking for a physical therapy team that is knowledgeable, friendly, and truly great with kids, this is the place to go. We are so grateful for Dr. Alex and his staff!

I went to this facility with a back issue that was also affecting my legs for over 3 months. I was met with Alex, one of the owners and a Physical Therapist. Talking with him set me at ease. He is very pleasant to deal with and is very competent as well. I like the philosophy of the center. They do not say don't do this or don't do that. They understand that, in real life, you have to do things like bending. They make sure that all the actions that you are doing in real life you can perform. They focus on core strength and strengthening all the muscles that you need to strengthen to perform all the tasks you need to perform. I was not expecting to finish my therapy with total relief. I thought I will have pain that I will need to learn to deal with. What I got out of the sessions was a pain free body. I do understand that I have to keep exercising to keep it in that state. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for PT.

Great experience here. Dr. Alex clearly explained what might be causing my hip pain and gave me a plan with exercises and activity modifications to help manage it. The whole team made it clear they genuinely want to see you get better. I’m already feeling much better and feel hopeful about getting back to golf

I received care from Dr. Alexzander and had a very positive experience. After surgery on both of my ankles, he helped me address ongoing ankle pain by quickly identifying what I needed to improve and giving me targeted exercises. He explained each exercise in detail, showed me exactly how to do them, and made sure I understood what to focus on and why. He was extremely attentive and took the time to walk through everything clearly, which made a big difference in my recovery. He also spoke with my father-in-law, who is a heavy golfer, and offered thoughtful recommendations and exercises for his elbow pain. Dr. Alexzander was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely engaged in helping people improve their mobility and function. I would confidently recommend Dr. Alexzander to anyone looking for attentive care and clear, hands-on guidance for recovery and mobility.

I’ve been to many Different PT clinics throughout my life, I have received the quality of care that I did here. All of The employees were extremely respectful and encouraging throughout the entire process. Dr. Rodriguez helped me regain the strength in my shoulder I never thought I would have again. Most clinics do a lot of passive therapy that I cannot continue on my own. He made the environment fun and engaging, using movement as the primary form of rehabilitation. I now have the knowledge and motivation to continue growing on my own. I’ve already recommended him and the clinic to all of my friends and family in need of high quality PT. I’ll never forget these words, “movement is medicine”.

Commonly Asked Questions & What to Expect During Your PT Treatment

Do I need to see a doctor first?

Thanks to direct access, we can see any patient without a referral from a doctor for an initial evaluation. If our therapists believe that physical therapy is a good option for your needs, we can work with you and your physician to obtain a prescription for continued care. If your diagnosis requires additional expertise, we can also refer you to a specialist to handle your care.

What do I need to bring to my first visit?

For your first visit, be sure to bring the following items:

  • Prescription for physical therapy from your referring physician (if applicable)
  • Government issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license)
  • Insurance card(s)
  • Patient forms, which can be downloaded from this site in PDF format. Print and fill out the forms completely and bring them during your first visit.
  • Patients who are minors (under 18 years of age) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for their first visit.

What should I wear to physical therapy?

Please wear or bring comfortable athletic/workout clothing to change into. This includes shorts or sweatpants, a t-shirt and sneakers. Your attire should also allow easy access to your injured area for treatment by your physical therapist.

What can I expect during my first visit?

During your first visit, your therapist will perform a thorough examination, in which he or she will review your physician’s recommendations, examine the problem area, ask questions about your injury or pain, develop an effective treatment plan for rehabilitation, discuss their findings with you and answer any questions you may have. Your treatment plan may include hands-on, manual therapy, a customized exercise program, stretching and physical agents such as heat, ice, ultrasound and electrical stimulation. Your physical therapist may also recommend a home program to further assist in your treatment.

How long will my appointment take?

Your first appointment will typically last from 45 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on your injury. Following appointments usually last between 30 minutes and an hour, depending on the treatment. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your appointment for check-in and paperwork. You can also download our patient forms, which can be filled out beforehand and brought with to your appointment.

How often will I need to come?

The frequency of your treatment will depend on your physician’s prescription and the plan of care developed by your physical therapist. Most patients require treatment two to three times per week. The duration of treatment will depend on your injury and personal progress. Your physical therapist will discuss this with you following your initial exam and subsequently as you progress.

What if I need to cancel an appointment?

If you are unable to attend an appointment, we require at least 24 hours' notice. However, we do understand than an occasional emergency or illness may arise, in which case you may have to cancel your appointment closer to your scheduled time.

Do you accept insurances? Will insurance cover my therapy?

We accept most major insurances including Medicare, Tricare and workers’ compensation plans. Before your initial visit, we will verify in and out of network benefits with your insurance company. The cost of therapy is determined by the benefits of your insurance plan, including the deductible and co-pay, or patient percentage. We are happy to check with your insurance company to determine the terms of your coverage. Payment for patient responsibility is due at the time of service.
