Heather Rochelle Rudd

Heather is an East Texas native who was raised with a strong work ethic that has carried over into many aspects of both her personal and professional lives. She attended the University of Southern Arkansas in Magnolia, Arkansas where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Psychology in 2007. She was also a member of both the cross country and distance track teams where she ran the 5k and 1500m, respectively. Her passion for running and love of exercise led her to pursue a career in physical therapy.
Heather has been treating in the orthopedic setting since obtaining her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the UT Southwestern Medical Center in 2014. She has since furthered her skillset by becoming a Board-Certified Orthopedic Specialist in 2019. Heather strives to provide a personalized approach to all patient care, utilizing a variety of soft tissue mobilization, joint manipulation, and various other manual techniques to aidin her patient’s recovery process.
She enjoys working with patients from all walks of life but is particularly passionate about treating young athletes. She currently serves as the team physical therapist for the Allen High School football team (Go Eagles!) and enjoys helping athletesrehab from injury and get back on the field, doing what they love most. She also has experience treating common orthopedic injuries such as rotator cuff repairs, ACL injuries, total hip and knee replacements, back surgeries, among other hip, knee, and ankle injuries.
When she is not busy treating, Heather enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and yellow lab, Millie.
