Stephan moved to Orange County from Santa Monica and began his young career at The University of California Irvine, where he received a B.A. in Psychology and Social Behavior. Towards the end of his time at UCI, he discovered his passion for physical therapy, which sparked an interest in him to change his original career path. With that “spark” of newfound inspiration, he returned to school to fulfill the required pre-requisites to apply for graduate school. Stephan then attended Chapman University and graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree, and is currently licensed in the state of California as a physical therapist. Prior to joining the Cal Rehab Huntington Beach team in February 2020, he became a Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) Certified Provider by Smart Tools, Graston Technique Provider, Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by NSCA, Certified FMT Basic and Performance Kinesiology Taping by RockTape, Certified in Applied Functional Science (CAFS) by Gray Institute, and a Champion Performance Specialist (C-PS) by Mike Reinolds. Stephan applies this wide range of high-quality evidence-based practice to his patients in order to help guide patients through the recovery process in order to maximize their recovery.
In his free time, Stephan enjoys traveling and eating around the world at all of the various renowned and well-known food spots, staying active in the gym, but above all…Stephan loves tacos!
