I have been to Vista Physical Therapy in Anna Texas several times for various medical recoveries and treatments over the last 3 years. I have always received excellent service and have no complaints whatsoever. Misty at the front desk is awesome. She takes the time to listen and helps me get insurance coverage validated and is very flexible when it comes to scheduling appointments. Michael and Paul are great at what they do in regards to diagnosing and treatment. They listen to me when talking about my therapy. I would recommend this Physical Therapy office to everyone.

I have a medium tear rotator cuff in shoulder. It was bothering me horrible night and day for weeks, at its worst. One visit to this place, Great results! And now I don't have to hurt at work or at home or in my sleep! I would highly recommend this location to anyone!

Most of the staff are very friendly and professional. After your first visit, all of the other visits are the same. You are given a code for the app and download the app and do the exercises at home. I was only having 3- 5 minutes of "scar" therapy then I was on my own for the rest. I have been doing the exercises at home and found how to do the scar therapy on you tube. It is too hot to go for basically 3-5 minutes of time with a physical therapist and the the rest on my own in less than 30 minutes but was billed for an hour appointment.

First, the PT I worked with was absolutely amazing! He is very knowledgeable, kind, and also knew when to push me harder. Unfortunately the billing system is absolutely horrific! I went 3 times a week for approx 9 months. I paid faithfully every single time and was told I had no balance. Then, about 8 months into my treatment, I got a letter from the billing office that I had an overdue payment from my very first visit. I had never been told this and had never been given any notification until it was past due. Still, I made the payment. Accidents happen. I have not been treating for nearly 2 years. Today, I received a call from a collection agency because I owed a past due amount. Again, I had NEVER received any notifications/communications that I had a balance owed. I would have paid it. The bill has now been paid to the collection agency (paid today, the same day I became aware the money was owed). No problem. I know of others this has happened to as well. This is a huge problem! The local staff is great and I received excellent treatment. However, I will no longer refer anyone because of the problems with the billing. All of this trouble over $46. This is beyond unprofessional and I'm so disappointed.

Commonly Asked Questions & What to Expect During Your PT Treatment

Do I need to see a doctor first?

Thanks to direct access, we can see any patient without a referral from a doctor for an initial evaluation. If our therapists believe that physical therapy is a good option for your needs, we can work with you and your physician to obtain a prescription for continued care. If your diagnosis requires additional expertise, we can also refer you to a specialist to handle your care.

What do I need to bring to my first visit?

For your first visit, be sure to bring the following items:

  • Prescription for physical therapy from your referring physician (if applicable)
  • Government issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license)
  • Insurance card(s)
  • Patient forms, which can be downloaded from this site in PDF format. Print and fill out the forms completely and bring them during your first visit.
  • Patients who are minors (under 18 years of age) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for their first visit.

What should I wear to physical therapy?

Please wear or bring comfortable athletic/workout clothing to change into. This includes shorts or sweatpants, a t-shirt and sneakers. Your attire should also allow easy access to your injured area for treatment by your physical therapist.

What can I expect during my first visit?

During your first visit, your therapist will perform a thorough examination, in which he or she will review your physician’s recommendations, examine the problem area, ask questions about your injury or pain, develop an effective treatment plan for rehabilitation, discuss their findings with you and answer any questions you may have. Your treatment plan may include hands-on, manual therapy, a customized exercise program, stretching and physical agents such as heat, ice, ultrasound and electrical stimulation. Your physical therapist may also recommend a home program to further assist in your treatment.

How long will my appointment take?

Your first appointment will typically last from 45 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on your injury. Following appointments usually last between 30 minutes and an hour, depending on the treatment. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your appointment for check-in and paperwork. You can also download our patient forms, which can be filled out beforehand and brought with to your appointment.

How often will I need to come?

The frequency of your treatment will depend on your physician’s prescription and the plan of care developed by your physical therapist. Most patients require treatment two to three times per week. The duration of treatment will depend on your injury and personal progress. Your physical therapist will discuss this with you following your initial exam and subsequently as you progress.

What if I need to cancel an appointment?

If you are unable to attend an appointment, we require at least 24 hours' notice. However, we do understand than an occasional emergency or illness may arise, in which case you may have to cancel your appointment closer to your scheduled time.

Do you accept insurances? Will insurance cover my therapy?

We accept most major insurances including Medicare, Tricare and workers’ compensation plans. Before your initial visit, we will verify in and out of network benefits with your insurance company. The cost of therapy is determined by the benefits of your insurance plan, including the deductible and co-pay, or patient percentage. We are happy to check with your insurance company to determine the terms of your coverage. Payment for patient responsibility is due at the time of service.
