Anusha Singh, a Bay Area native, earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from San Jose State University in 2010. While pursuing her studies, she gained hands-on experience as a PT aide at a hospital-based outpatient clinic, working with patients in orthopedic, neurological, and aquatic therapy. This early exposure to rehabilitation and patient care inspired her to pursue a career in physical therapy.

In 2017, Anusha completed her associate’s degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant at Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts and earned her license through the California Board of Physical Therapy. Since then, she has worked with diverse patient populations across orthopedics, neurology, vestibular, and aquatic therapy, continually seeking new opportunities to grow and learn. Outside of the clinic, Anusha enjoys swimming, cooking, gardening, cycling, and cheering on her favorite sports teams.

With more than 11 years of experience in neurological, orthopedic, and geriatric rehabilitation, Bhakti Shah brings both expertise and compassion to her patients. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in India before completing her Master’s and Doctorate in Physical Therapy in the United States.

Bhakti is a dedicated team player who values interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure the highest quality of care. Her patient-centered approach focuses on developing individualized treatment plans that not only support recovery but also promote long-term wellness. As clinic director, she fosters a welcoming environment where patients and staff alike feel empowered to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Angela West earned her Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from Cal State Long Beach and went on to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Howard University. Following graduation, she began her career in a workers’ compensation facility while simultaneously studying with the Manual Therapy Institute, where she obtained her fellowship in manual therapy.

Since becoming a physical therapist in 2014, Angela has worked in a variety of settings, though her passion lies in outpatient care. Here, she applies her expertise in movement analysis and problem-solving to deliver tailored, effective treatments that help patients achieve their goals.

Robert Carrillo, PT, DPT, is a recent Doctor of Physical Therapy graduate from Samuel Merritt University. He chose this profession out of a passion for helping others and making a positive impact in their lives. Robert strives to provide care rooted in empathy, inclusiveness, and respect—combining his clinical expertise with strong interpersonal skills to support each patient’s unique path to recovery.

Born and raised in the South Bay, Robert has a deep appreciation for the Bay Area community he calls home. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys lifting weights, hiking, and playing video games. Robert is excited to bring his dedication to health, wellness, and patient care to his role as a physical therapist.

Joseph (Joe) Acorda earned his degree of a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from San Jose State University. Afterwards, he got experience as a physical therapy aide and over time got interested in pursuing a career in the field. Eventually, he entered and graduated from Ohlone College's program to become a PTA.

Having a belief that moving is better than not moving, Joe emphasizes graded exposure to exercise as a means to managing pain and helping patients return to doing what they want to do. When not at work, Joe enjoys lifting weights and playing video games."

Dr. Justin Seneris, PT, DPT, OCS received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, NY and a Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Biology from the University of California, Davis. Justin is also a graduate of the orthopedic residency program at the University of Miami and is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist.

Justin is an East Bay native and has participated in a variety of sports including football, track and field, rugby, and numerous martial arts. He initially aspired to be an athletic trainer in college. A knee injury led him to a physical therapy clinic, prompting a shift in his ambitions. As a patient, he was motivated by his therapist’s desire to get him back on the field and recognized this was ultimately a more fitting specialty. Over his career he has had opportunities to work with patients around the U.S. including New York, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, and Washington. He enjoys working with patients on improving their confidence and self-management ability, empowering them to return to their favorite activities and more.

Alexander (Alex) Jerez earned his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Cal State Monterey Bay before working as a personal trainer and briefly as a soccer coach. Inspired to expand his impact in health and wellness, he pursued a career in physical therapy and graduated from Ohlone College’s PTA program.

With a strong background in strength and conditioning, Alex combines pain management with muscle-building strategies to help his patients regain strength and return to the activities they love. In his free time, he enjoys going to the gym, playing and watching soccer, and hiking or walking with his wife and their dog.
