I grew up in tracktown USA (Eugene, Oregon) where my love for exercise and sports began. I enjoyed watching and playing any and all sports from a young age, although I spent most of my time playing basketball, softball, volleyball, and track and field. This love for sports took me to Nampa, Idaho, where I attended school at Northwest Nazarene University to play on the women’s basketball team. It also led me to my initial interest and passion for physical therapy. Understanding the effects of physical activity, and the way the human body moves and benefits from preservation, restoration or enhancement of movement was captivating and led me further into the physical therapy field of study. After 4 years of undergraduate school and obtaining my bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, I went on to Physical Therapy Assistant school at Carrington College Boise to attain my next goal of becoming a licensed clinician.
My interests outside of the clinic include reading, working out, and spending lots of time with my puppy, Charlie. I also love outdoor activities, such as camping, boating, fishing, hiking, razor riding, and drag racing!
I have been with RehabAuthority for 4 years, and am honored to be a part of such a great practice. I love the atmosphere of the clinics, the mission and goals of the company, and the friends made (in patients and coworkers). I believe it is a wonderful place and truly impacts people in ways that complement the healing process. I am proud to be able to help people feel better through and about moving.
