Joel San Nicolas was born on Guam and later moved to Spokane, Washington, to pursue his education. He earned his degree from Eastern Washington University in 1989. Shortly after graduating, Joel began a career centered on service, working at Shriners Hospital before serving on active duty in the United States Air Force from 1991 to 1996.
Following his military service, Joel built a diverse and accomplished career in healthcare and corporate leadership. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, he held leadership roles within one of the nation’s largest healthcare systems, where he managed multiple clinics and oversaw operations for an ambulatory surgery center. In these positions, he developed extensive expertise in healthcare administration, strengthened key stakeholder relationships, and maintained a consistent focus on patient-centered care.
With a strong entrepreneurial drive, Joel later founded and operated an outpatient physical therapy practice, a fitness center, and a property management company in Nine Mile Falls, Washington. His physical therapy practice served the community for more than two decades and became a trusted local resource before he successfully sold the business after 22 years of operation.
After relocating to Meridian, Idaho, Joel is excited to begin a new chapter with PRN Rehab Network and RehabAuthority. He looks forward to bringing his extensive experience, leadership background, and dedication to patient care and community service to the Star, Idaho area, where he remains committed to making a positive impact.
