I had such a wonderful experience with Megan for pelvic floor therapy! From the very first appointment, she made me feel comfortable and supported. She was amazing at explaining everything in a way that was easy to understand and always took the time to answer my questions. I truly felt like she cared about helping me feel my best. The entire team was so kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring. As a mom, I had to bring my baby with me to a couple of appointments, and they were incredibly understanding. They happily jumped in to help entertain her when needed and never once made me feel like it was an inconvenience. That kindness meant so much to me and made each visit so much less stressful. I’m so grateful for the care I received and would highly recommend Megan and the entire team to anyone looking for pelvic floor therapy. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel cared for.

Rehabit authority is a group of very knowledgeable professionals. They are kind and compassionate, very helpful and encouraging as well. I felt comfortable the entire time. Also the front desk is friendly and fun and she works with you in scheduling as best she can. I would come back to this practice in a heartbeat, and highly recommend.

I would definitely recommend rehab authority for physical therapy!! The environment was always very welcoming and friendly. I worked with Brian and Jade the most and they were awesome! But every employee there is kind, caring and professional. Each visit, I was asked questions about how I was doing with my progression and pain and they would make changes to my treatment plan if needed. I was able to improve a lot with my pain level, physical function and mobility as I went to my appointments and did my at-home exercises. After I was discharged, they also gave me a home exercise plan that I could follow to continue strengthening weak areas that I had. Overall, it was a great experience and I would go back in the future if I ever need their help again!

I came to rehab. Authority after a total knee replacement in Jan. 2026. I was going twice a week for 4 months. I am not giving your facility a good recommendation. In March, my range of motion got to 110. Because of the low range of motion, I had to have a manipulation. The manipulation totally set me back to square one. I had to start all over again. I feel that if the physical therapists had pushed me harder, I would not have had to have the manipulation done. Brain, the director, will probably say, well it’s because she didn’t do her home exercises. That is so not true. That’s all I did for months was exercise every day. Brian, worked with me maybe a total of 2 times in the 4 months that I was there. And then it was only for 15 mins. & then he would pawn me off to someone else. If I had known this facility was a training clinic for college physical therapists, I would have never gone there. Every time I went to my appts. twice a week, I always had someone different. And the therapists that worked there, they were always talking, laughing, amongst each other, not showing much one on one time with the patient. If Brian & Trenton had worked with me, one on one, & showed more care & concern for me as a patient, I would not have had to have the manipulation done. I stayed because I trusted them & was hoping they could get me where I needed to be. I feel that Brian did not push me hard enough just so he could get more weeks of therapy from me from my insurance. It was more about making money for your company than caring for the patients. This clinic is not professional at what they do. I Will Not recommend your place of business to anyone. And to have the director bring his dogs in on fridays & have them sitting on the beds that the patients lay on…. Very unprofessional !! And if Brian really cared for my well being as a patient, why didn’t he call me when I did not return. Not a phone call, Nothing !!

Commonly Asked Questions & What to Expect During Your PT Treatment

Do I need to see a doctor first?

Thanks to direct access, we can see any patient without a referral from a doctor for an initial evaluation. If our therapists believe that physical therapy is a good option for your needs, we can work with you and your physician to obtain a prescription for continued care. If your diagnosis requires additional expertise, we can also refer you to a specialist to handle your care.

What do I need to bring to my first visit?

For your first visit, be sure to bring the following items:

  • Prescription for physical therapy from your referring physician (if applicable)
  • Government issued photo ID (such as a driver’s license)
  • Insurance card(s)
  • Patient forms, which can be downloaded from this site in PDF format. Print and fill out the forms completely and bring them during your first visit.
  • Patients who are minors (under 18 years of age) must be accompanied by a parent or guardian for their first visit.

What should I wear to physical therapy?

Please wear or bring comfortable athletic/workout clothing to change into. This includes shorts or sweatpants, a t-shirt and sneakers. Your attire should also allow easy access to your injured area for treatment by your physical therapist.

What can I expect during my first visit?

During your first visit, your therapist will perform a thorough examination, in which he or she will review your physician’s recommendations, examine the problem area, ask questions about your injury or pain, develop an effective treatment plan for rehabilitation, discuss their findings with you and answer any questions you may have. Your treatment plan may include hands-on, manual therapy, a customized exercise program, stretching and physical agents such as heat, ice, ultrasound and electrical stimulation. Your physical therapist may also recommend a home program to further assist in your treatment.

How long will my appointment take?

Your first appointment will typically last from 45 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on your injury. Following appointments usually last between 30 minutes and an hour, depending on the treatment. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of your appointment for check-in and paperwork. You can also download our patient forms, which can be filled out beforehand and brought with to your appointment.

How often will I need to come?

The frequency of your treatment will depend on your physician’s prescription and the plan of care developed by your physical therapist. Most patients require treatment two to three times per week. The duration of treatment will depend on your injury and personal progress. Your physical therapist will discuss this with you following your initial exam and subsequently as you progress.

What if I need to cancel an appointment?

If you are unable to attend an appointment, we require at least 24 hours' notice. However, we do understand than an occasional emergency or illness may arise, in which case you may have to cancel your appointment closer to your scheduled time.

Do you accept insurances? Will insurance cover my therapy?

We accept most major insurances including Medicare, Tricare and workers’ compensation plans. Before your initial visit, we will verify in and out of network benefits with your insurance company. The cost of therapy is determined by the benefits of your insurance plan, including the deductible and co-pay, or patient percentage. We are happy to check with your insurance company to determine the terms of your coverage. Payment for patient responsibility is due at the time of service.
