Kalani McLaughlin was born and raised on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. After graduating high school in 2008, he attended The University of Montana Western on a Football Scholarship. He graduated with a BS in Health and Human Performance. After graduating from the University of Montana Western in 2013, he and his wife moved to the Flathead Valley where she began her teaching career and he began working as a Physical Therapy Tech. In 2017 Kalani graduated from Flathead Valley Community College Physical Therapist Assistant Program and began his career as PT Assistant. Kalani has experience in both inpatient and outpatient PT settings and is the Clinic Director and Partner of Berube Physical Therapy (Kalispell). With a heavy sports background at the high school and collegiate level, both as a player and coach, Kalani finds treating functional strength interventions and orthopedic injuries some of his favorites to work with.

Driving Force:
I have always wanted to be involved in the medical world and did not discover the world of physical therapy until my time playing collegiate football. I witnessed multiple teammates encounter season and at times life-changing injuries, which gave me the drive to study physical therapy.

His story:
I now live in Kalispell, MT with my wife Molly, two Daughters- Harper and Sawyer and son, Bauman. We love to explore on random family trips and spend as much time outdoors during the warm weather season and spend just as much time on the mountains in the winter.

Rachel was born in Michigan and started her college career getting her Bachelors in Science from Central Michigan University. From there she attended the University of Colorado to get her doctorate in physical therapy. After graduating she has spent time both in the hospital and outpatient setting in St. Louis and Denver before making her way to Montana in 2020.
Rachel is a former bodybuilder and competitive powerlifting, and enjoys helping other find their way back into the gym after injury. Currently, in her free time she enjoys all the Montana living with her husband Riley, including mountain biking, hiking, snowboarding and almost all outdoor adventures. They also keep busy taking care of their 16 fur babies, ranging from dogs to cows.

Rachel enjoys treating orthopedic and sport injuries. In addition she has recently been expanding her pelvic health expertise and is looking forward to better helping these patients at Berube.

Dawson was born and raised in the Flathead Valley. After graduating from Flathead High School, she attended Montana State University, receiving a Bachelors in Health and Human Performance. She attended the University of Utah in Salt Lake City for her doctoral degree in physical therapy. There, she worked in various outpatient orthopedic and neurologic PT clinics as well as in the hospital system and neurologic rehabilitation center. She enjoys treating orthopedic injuries and conditions as well as neurologic, she even has experience learning under an amputee specialist.

Outside the clinic, she can be found skiing, boating, exercising or playing with her golden retriever, Colter.

Michael is a Missoula native. He attended Sentinel High school in Missoula, where his time in physical therapy for multiple sports injuries inspired him to help and treat patients, himself. After graduating from Athletic Training school at The University of Montana, he attended the Physical Therapy program there and received his doctorate. He practiced for two years in Missoula before moving to the Flathead, in 2012.

In Kalispell, he met his wife Rachel, and they got married in 2014. They’ve enjoyed many adventures in and out of Montana. Their newest adventure is raising their son Weldon. As a family, they enjoy being outside, rafting, walking/hiking, gardening, playing with their dogs, and spending time with friends and family.

Michael enjoys working with patients from different backgrounds with an assortment of impairments. His areas of expertise include concussion rehabilitation, post-operative shoulder, knee, and ankle rehabilitation

Josh is a Physical Therapist Assistant with a strong passion for helping individuals recover and maintain optimal movement. Growing up in Pine Bluffs, Wyoming, he pursued a degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from Laramie County Community College. Inspired by his own experience with a back injury that was successfully treated through physical therapy, Josh developed a deep appreciation for the profession and its ability to improve quality of life.
Since 2013, Josh has been practicing in the Flathead Valley, utilizing a balanced approach to treatment that incorporates both manual interventions and personalized strength and mobility exercises. With a commitment to holistic care, we focus on addressing the root causes of pain and dysfunction, helping patients achieve long-term recovery and functional independence.
Josh continues to serve the Flathead Valley community with the same dedication that guided his own healing journey, always striving to provide compassionate and effective care to each patient.

Teresa is a native of the Flathead Valley. After graduating from Flathead High School, she moved to New Jersey in 1991. She met her Husband of 26 years while living in New Jersey. Teresa and her husband raised two kids- Dalton, 27 and Gillian, 23 in Thompson Falls, Montana. They later moved back to the valley after their daughter went to college and have resided in the Flathead Valley since. You will typically find Teresa on a run or a walk with her sweet pup Latte, her partner in crime. Teresa and her Husband love to camp, fish, and take their pup for long walks. Teresa loves working in the Physical Therapy field because she gets to see the amazing results patients make from start to finish.
