Yaroslav Vorobey is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with a strong commitment to helping patients recover from injury and improve functional independence. He began his higher education at Highline College in Des Moines, Washington, where he completed coursework toward a pre‑nursing degree between 2015 and 2018. Although he ultimately chose not to pursue nursing, his passion for helping others remained strong, leading him to seek a more active, movement‑focused role in healthcare.
Yaroslav went on to earn his Associate of Applied Science degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant from Green River College in Auburn, Washington, completing the program between 2018 and 2020. The PTA program at Green River College is known for being highly competitive and challenging to gain admission into, and is widely regarded as one of the top Physical Therapist Assistant programs in Washington State. His clinical internships were primarily focused on outpatient orthopedic settings, with additional exposure to hospital‑based care. Graduating during the COVID‑19 pandemic presented unique challenges, including delayed coursework and difficulty securing clinical placements. Despite these obstacles, Yaroslav successfully completed the program—an experience that strengthened his resilience and contributed significantly to his professional growth as both a clinician and an individual.
He began his professional career as a PTA in December 2020, practicing in Washington State across four outpatient clinics over the course of two years. This experience provided exposure to a wide variety of diagnoses and patient populations, allowing him to develop strong clinical versatility and hands‑on expertise. In March 2022, Yaroslav relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he has continued his career for nearly four years, working across three clinics and further expanding his clinical skill set.
Yaroslav has been licensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the State of Nevada since March 2022 and previously held licensure in Washington State from December 2020 through 2022. His primary treatment focus includes neurological balance and gait training, post‑operative rehabilitation, and the application of the McKenzie Method for managing a variety of cervical and lumbar spine conditions.
Since December 2024, Yaroslav has been practicing at Kelly Hawkins Physical Therapy, where he is very happy to continue applying his skills, growing as a clinician, and contributing to the company’s commitment to high‑quality, patient‑centered care.
Outside of the clinic, Yaroslav enjoys staying active through long‑distance running, pickleball, and soccer. He also has a strong appreciation for the arts, including painting and drawing, and enjoys hiking, traveling, and exploring different cuisines. These interests reflect his belief in movement, creativity, and lifelong learning as essential components of overall well‑being.
Yaroslav is proud to be a Physical Therapist Assistant and remains dedicated to helping patients safely rehabilitate, restore movement, and improve their overall quality of life through individualized, evidence‑based treatment.
