Mirko Vuksic

Mirko brings 20+ years of orthopedic and sports medicine clinical experience to the Cal Rehab team.
Mirko earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in 1998, Magna Cum Laude, in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from Fresno State University. He earned his Master's of Physical Therapy degree in 2001 from Chapman University, and culminated his education with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2008 from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts.
Mirko has earned multiple postgraduate specialty certifications, including that of Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) in 2004, a board-certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) in 2006, and a Certification in Spinal Manipulative Therapy (Cert. SMT) in 2010. He has completed extensive continuing education, including a year-long manual therapy course.
Mirko has worked in orthopedics and sports medicine since becoming a therapist, and he has had the opportunity to work with hundreds of high school and college athletes in various sports throughout Orange County and beyond while specializing in spinal and post-surgical rehabilitation of athletes. Additionally, he has worked with athletes from several youth soccer clubs, Orange County Blue Star (now OC Soccer Club) soccer, NFL Europe, MLB, MLS, NWSL, and served as a consultant to the national water polo teams of Yugoslavia (now Serbia and Montenegro) during their visits to the U.S. He was previously a physical therapy consultant for West Coast Futbol Club, and currently serves the same role for So Cal Blues Soccer Club.
