Alan is a Georgia native who attended the University of Georgia then graduated from the Medical College of Georgia in Physical Therapy. He has worked in a variety of settings from private practice to hospital and rehabilitation facilities consisting of orthopedic, post-surgical and neuro patients before moving to Dallas and deciding to focus on sports medicine and rehabilitation of an athletic population. He worked gaining hours and experience with the Southern Methodist University athletic department medical team and became dual licensed as a Physical Therapist and an Athletic Trainer in the State of Texas.

In the year 2000, he was one of the original partners with Vista who opened Southwest Sports and Spine which was later rebranded to Vista Physical Therapy. Through 24 years with Vista, Alan has served as a Partner, Clinic Director, and Regional Director of Operations. It was always personally important to maintain patient contact and he continues treating patients in the original clinic location.

In addition to working with the Dallas Cowboys and Stars, he has worked with other professional, Olympic, collegiate, and high school athletes.

In his personal life having 2 sons who have gone through Jesuit CP high school, Alan volunteered time with the medical staff there in the training room for over 15 years. He enjoys spending time with his wife, 2 boys, family and friends; being outdoors either on his bike, fishing locally or fly fishing in cooler climates.

Emily, a native of Frisco, TX, graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a major in Kinesiology and a minor in business. She competed as a heptathlete on the track team during her college years. She obtained her Doctorate in Physical Therapy at UT Southwestern in 2018. She has over six years of experience in outpatient orthopedics, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), and recently became a Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). She is passionate about helping individuals of all ages recover from injury and improve their function and quality of life through an individualized rehabilitation program.

Emily first became interested in the field of Physical Therapy in middle school after receiving PT for a back injury from gymnastics. The impact her therapist had in her recovery has inspired her to have the same positive affect on her patients today. In her freetime, Emily enjoys scrapbooking, running, hiking and mountain biking as well as spending time with her family, friends, and church community.

Kaydee Sloan, PT, DPT, OCS, CSCS is a Dallas native with over a decade of experience as a physical therapist. She was an avid high school golfer at Highland Park High School, which led her to a love of being active and outdoors. She graduated from Clemson in 2012 with majors in Biology and Spanish and loves college football season. Go Tigers!

 Following college, Kaydee graduated in 2014 from UT Southwestern with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. She also holds credentials as a Board Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Specializing in outpatient orthopedics, she strives to help her patients get back to an improved quality of life and their own individualized goals through compassion and a strong work ethic. Recently, Kaydee served as the Clinic Director for Vista Katy Trail before relocating to Preston Hollow. Outside of work, she enjoys walking her dog Loki, reading, traveling, and is active in her church and with family

Lauren is a Texas native who graduated from high school in Plano, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Colorado State University–Pueblo in 2021, where she also competed in collegiate track and became a Division II Indoor Track and Field National Champion in the women’s long jump in 2019, as well as a 4x All-American. Lauren went on to receive her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Inspired by her own knee injury in middle school, Lauren developed a passion for physical therapy and enjoys working with a wide range of patients, including sports injuries, pediatrics, degenerative neurological conditions, and post-operative rehabilitation. Outside of work, she enjoys running, fitness classes, crocheting, spending time with friends and family, and attending Bible study.

Tim is a Nebraska native who earned his degree in Nutrition Science and Dietetics from the University of Nebraska and then attended the University of Nebraska Medical Center earning his Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree. He is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist and a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist that treats active individuals and sports enthusiasts of all levels helping them return to the activities they compete in and enjoy.

Tim has been an active member of the Vista team since moving to Dallas in 2015. He has served as a staff therapist prior to stepping into his current role as Clinic Director. In 2022 he returned to the Preston Hollow clinic after serving as Clinic Director at the Katy Trail location.

Tim takes an individualized approach to each treatment. He understands the healing process isn’t always linear and will work closely with you to reach your goals by utilizing manual intervention techniques, building a foundation of control and body awareness, and progressing to a functional return to sport or activity. He has been through several levels of training via the Titleist Performance Institute to work with golfers and rotational athletes. He is trained in neurodynamic dry needling and can facilitate muscle growth and function with blood-flow restriction principles.

Away from the clinic, Tim is a supportive husband and busy father of two girls. He enjoys watching his Huskers and spending time outside in sport or relaxation.
